Outdoor learning is very important to us. We have a brilliant outdoor area for our children which is used widely in a range of curriculum areas. 

We love playing in our Welly Woods and P1/2 children enjoy Outdoor Play as part of their play based learning.

As well as Welly Woods, we have a pirate ship, car, helicopter climbing frame and outdoor kitchen area.  We also have a large creative playhouse and great selection of trikes and cars. 

In recent years we have added a new Nature Nook, Pollytunnel, Cozy Cottage and Wendy House. 

We grow a wide selection of flowers, fruit and vegetables.  The children are encouraged to take responsibility in the planting and maintaining of these areas. 

P5/6 enjoy Forest School sessions every term in Garvagh Forest.  We use the outdoors for other activities such as Shared Education.
