Gorran Primary School acknowledged Mrs Audrey Paul’s 25 years of service to the school at a special Christmas concert in First Garvagh Presbyterian Church on 18th December. Family, friends, staff, parents and pupils enjoyed an evening of drama and song.
P1 and 2 children performed a memorable and joyful nativity.
P3 and 4 had written a special acrostic poem to thank Mrs Paul for her dedication and to wish her well.
P5 and 6 performed a choral poem celebrating happy memories of Mrs Paul’s years in Gorran.
P7 did a festive performance of “A Christmas Carol with a Twist”.
Past pupils taught by Mrs Paul joined her to sing “One more step along the world I go.”
The evening was a wonderful celebration of Christmas and thanks. It was drawn to a close by Rev. Mark Donald and the PTA provided a cup of tea and homemade mince pies from Gorran’s wonderful cooks.
